What We Had is the debut effort from Broadwood, a four-piece rock band from Missouri. The EP showcases their knack for combining propulsive garage rock sonics with earworm melodies. Across the five tracks, lyrics grapple with loss, nostalgia, and tumultuous changes.

I worked with the band to create a visual system across the print and motion collateral surrounding the release of the EP, including the single and album artwork, CD and cassette tape packaging, t-shirts, show poster, and lyric video. Our approach of collaging serene memories with chaotic imagery was influenced by the record's blend of reflective emotional states and explosive instrumentation.
